Morgan Henderson

Morgan is a family law lawyer at Berman & Henderson LLP, where she has practiced since 2007. She was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2006 and focuses exclusively on family law, with extensive experience representing clients at all levels of court in the province, including the BC Court of Appeal.
Morgan holds a Bachelor of Laws from Dalhousie University (2005), where she was awarded the Law Foundation of Nova Scotia Scholarship, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Prince Edward Island (2001).
She has long been active in professional legal education and community leadership. From 2007 to 2014, she served on the executive of the Canadian Bar Association (BC Branch) Family Law Subsection, including two years as co-chair. She is a frequent presenter at Continuing Legal Education (CLE) seminars and has contributed to key publications such as Desk Order Divorce: An Annotated Guide and Introducing Evidence at Trial: A British Columbia Handbook. Since 2016, she has served on the editorial board of CLEBC’s BC Family Practice Manual.
Morgan has also been a guest speaker at the CAIRP National Conference on the intersection of insolvency and family law, and regularly speaks to students in Vancouver Community College’s Legal Administrative Assistant program. In 2024, she began serving as a guest judge for the 1L Moots at UBC’s Peter A. Allard School of Law.
